Ancient Egypt on your doorstep

Step into another world – the world of the Ancient Egyptians – at Marbella’s Palacio de Congresos.
A great activity for a rainy day, or when you’re all beached-out, this exhibit is a replica of the ancient Egyptian temple of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II over three thousand years ago.
Created by Egyptian artisan Hany Mostafa, the temple exhibit includes four separate rooms, where visitors will be able to view the impressive architecture, the hyeroglyphs that decorate the walls and hear typcial music and even sample food that would have been eaten at the time.
The exhibit runs until 21st September and is open from 4pm to midnight Monday to Saturday, and 11am to 2pm and 6pm to midnight on Sundays.
