We know that Marbella is best known for beach days and summer fun in the sun, but there’s so much more to enjoy here. Back in November we shared our top winter fun activities in Marbella which you should check out if you don’t believe this is a year round destination. Now the Christmas lights are up it’s looking so festive, and soon we should have the first snows up in our nearest ski resort.
One of the things Marbella does so well is to party, and Christmas is a great excuse to celebrate! There have already been loads of Christmas markets, with many more to come, and we’re getting invitations to all sorts of great events, so we thought we’d share and see if you can join us. There’s always a cozy, welcoming place for you to stay here at our boutique hotel, not to mention some great Christmas activities, so come on over and enjoy the magic of Christmas in Marbella.
Christmas Charity Bazaar at Neli G’s – 11 December – Neli G’s Cafe in Benavista will be hosting their very own Christmas Charity Bazaar on Friday 11th December 5pm – 8pm. There will be many stalls selling fantastic gifts and stocking fillers and a chance for a drink and a mince pie. All proceeds will be going towards the ‘Last Chance Animal Rescue’ and Costa Christmas Collection’ for the kids at the Malaga Orphanage & the Children of Domestic Abuse https://www.facebook.com/events/899456563424412/
Christmas Concert in Marbella – 15 December – This free concert by the renowned CHOIR & ORCHESTRA of COLLEGIUM MUSICUM COSTA DEL SOL takes place in Marbella’s beautiful Iglesia de la Encarnación in the Old Town on Tuesday, December 15th, at 20:30h.
Cheese Fair, Estepona – 18th– 20th December – Something for the foodies wanting something other than mince pies is this Cheese Fair 12.00 – 23.00 each day with the participation of more than 50 national cheese, wine and oil producers. Calle Terraza Estepona.
Arboretum Winter Fair – 20th December 12.00-17.00 – Environmental charity Arboretum Marbella are holding a very special Winter Fair on Sunday 20th December with stalls, special activities and opportunities to win some great prizes. There will be stalls where you can buy last minute Christmas gifts and organic produce, a kids’ zone from Marbella nursery Coleta and food and drink to buy. The event will take place in the stunning surroundings of Arboretum’s Edible Gardens for an afternoon surrounded by nature and festive fun. https://www.facebook.com/events/464389817078876/
This is just a small selection of activities going on, Marbella Town Hall should release their Christmas programme any day so keep your eye out. There will also be loads to do on the 5th and 6th January to welcome the Three Kings, so this is a great time to visit Marbella.
